New CrossLinc Technology Enhances Jobsite Safety, Quality and Productivity

With the recent launch of the Lincoln Electric Flextec® 350X multi-process welder and LN-25X portable wire feeder for construction, shipbuilding and other site-based projects, the company introduced new CrossLinc™ Technology to the marketplace. CrossLinc communicates voltage settings information between the welder and wire feeder using a standard weld cable. Telematics Take Hold in the Construction Industry

January Construction Starts Defy Seasonal Trends

January's level of U.S. construction starts, excluding residential work, was $24.7 billion, an increase of 9.8% versus December, according to the CMD Group, as reported by The nearly double-digit percentage increase was noteworthy since there is usually a December-to- January decline, due to seasonality, of 8.5 percent.
