 For more than 30 years, industries around the world have
come to love the GO-FER. Over that time, the GO-FER has changed and
evolved to meet customers' ever changing needs. At the 2015 FABTECH Show
in Booth N8013, Bug-O Systems will showcase its lower profile 4th
Generation; the GO-FER IV. This straight-line, versatile and robust
tractor is portable (new lower profile case) for all your cutting and
welding needs. In the past it took three machines to perform all the
applications that the new GO-FER IV can perform. It's like having three
units in one!

Fabtech 2015
|
|
 Fabtech, North America's largest metal forming, fabricating
and welding event will be held this year at the McCormick Place November
9-13 in Chicago, IL. This year's show features over 1,500 exhibitors and
is expecting over 40,000 attendees. More→

Nor-Pac Airgas - Welding Process
Specialist Training
|
|
 On September 1st Dan Sheets (Director- Advanced Fabrication
Technologies Nor Pac) and Mike Shaffer (Bug-0 "U" Education
Manager) teamed up and provided an Advanced Training course for the
Welding Process Specialists at Airgas Nor Pac. The program took place
at the Airgas Nor-Pac Regional Office and Technical Center in the Seattle
Washington area.
Bug-O was proud to be invited to
address this prestigious Airgas group. Mike Shaffer and Steven Scott
(Regional Sales Manager for Bug-O Systems) displayed and demonstrated the
new "all in one" Go-fer IV. This was a "sneak
preview" for this Airgas Team as they were given this opportunity to
see and use the machine before Bug-O's National new Product Launch.
Additionally Mike and Steven demonstrated the all position KBUG-3000 and
the famous Modular Drive System. More→

Welding Week 2015 - Antwerp, Belgium
|
|
 Bug-O Systems International was a recent participant in
Welding Week 2015 in Antwerp, Belgium which took place from October 20th
through the 23rd. The trade show, for equipment and technologies for
welding and cutting, takes place once every four years and provides
welding professionals with an overview of the finest products in the
Benelux community. This year marked the 10th edition of Welding Week and
attracted 4721 professional visitors, 904 students and 150 exhibitors
combining 27 different nationalities.
Two of Bug-O Systems' distributors
(ABF, France & MT-International, The Netherlands) showcased a wide
range of Bug-O products in their 60 square meter booth. More→

Brazil Welding Show 2015
|
|
 Bug-O
Systems International, a manufacturer of automated welding and cutting
equipment based in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, USA, participated in the
recent Brazil Welding Show with their authorized distributor, BFC Soldas.
The show took place in industrial metropolis Sao Paulo at the Expo Center
Norte from October 20th through the 23rd. More→

AWS Pipeline Conference - Sept. 1-3,
2015
|
|
 The fourth annual American Welding Society Pipeline
Conference was held on September 1-3, 2015 at the Hotel Monteleone in New
Orleans, LA. The Pipeline Conference provides a forum for presentation of
various new and influential updates in the processes, materials,
equipment and techniques used in the Pipeline Industry. Over 50 persons
from all over the globe attended to view 16 detailed presentations made
on a wide range of subjects. Topics included: Advancements in SMAW
Electrodes, Suggestions for Improvement in Efficiencies, Lean
Manufacturing and How It Can Be Applied to Pipelines and various
approaches to pipeline welding mechanization. More→

Allan Kahui - Tank Fabrication

In
September 2015, Bug-O Systems International welcomed Allan Kahui to the
team. Allan is from New Zealand but has been living and working in
Australia since 2008. He initially trained as a Boilermaker and
Pressure Welder and served a 6 year apprenticeship in the industry in New
Zealand working in Large Pulp and Paper Mills. More→

NSRP Weld Tech Panel - Mobile, AL

With
another Welding Technology Panel Meeting in the books for the NSRP
Program, the introduction of new technologies is likely to benefit the
use of Welding Mechanization in the Shipyard Industry. More→

West Virginia Oil & Gas Show
2015
|
|
Even
with the recent downturn in Shale Gas exploration, the Marcellus and
Utica Shale regions continue to be healthy. On October 7th Bug-O Systems
exhibited again at the 5th Annual West Virginia Oil & Gas Expo. The
event took place at the Mylan Park Expo Center in Morgantown, West

the Gases and Welding Distributors Association (GAWDA) celebrates 70
